Pete Alonso is a Mets star who was in a “brutal” car accident on Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Florida near the Mets’ spring training facility, in which his car flipped over several times. He played lacrosse and football as a freshman before deciding to focus solely on baseball. He enrolled at the University of Florida, where he played college baseball for the Florida Gators as a first baseman.

Pete Alonso got the chance to marry his long-time fiance Hailey. He had this to say right after the wedding:
