Labour Party chieftain and Peter Obi’s campaigner Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo has disclosed that he is unimpressed with his party’s politics.

He made this statement in a recent interview with an online TV platform.
“Any party that is not visibly committed to the welfare of Nigerians will most likely not see me there. I don’t rule out going back to anything because change is constant,” he stated.

The famous star has been in conflict with the party leadership recently, particularly after the outcome of its national working committee congress, where Barrister Julius Abure was re-elected as the party chairman.

He emphasized the issues of integrity and transparency that have recently plagued the party.
In 2022, Mr. Okonkwo left the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to the party’s decision to choose a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
A month after leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC), he joined the Labour Party (LP) and pledged his support to Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra, in his presidential campaign.
