Pietro Terracciano, an Italian goalkeeper for Serie A team Fiorentina, was born on March 8, 1990.
Prior to spending the 2010–11 season on loan at Lega Pro Seconda Divisione club Milazzo, Terraciano started his professional career with Nocerina. He began playing professionally in the lower divisions of Italian football before moving to Serie A team Catania in June 2011. Terracciano was officially signed by Catania on June 30, 2011, from recently promoted Serie B team Nocerina.

The player started the season as the Sicilian club’s fourth-choice goalkeeper, trailing Argentine international Mariano Andjar, experienced Italian Andrea Campagnolo, and former Slovakian U-21 international Tomá Koick.
