Ray Guy was an American professional football punter who played for the National Football League’s Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders (NFL).

Ray Guy had two children, a son Ryan and a daughter Amber. Ray’s daughter Amber currently lives in Augusta, Georgia.
Ryan Guy, Ray’s son, teaches physical education and health at Harlem Middle School in Harlem, Georgia. He has been a teacher for 21 years, and this is his 17th year at Harlem.

Ryan is in charge of all Physical Education activities at the school, including lacrosse, basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, kickball, four square, spike ball, and many others. He makes certain that the students have designated days each week for Physical Education and Health.
Ray Guy is regarded as one of the best punters of all time, having spent 14 seasons with the Raiders. During his career, he pinned opponents inside their 20-yard line 210 times. During Guy’s induction ceremony, he received a great compliment from head coach John Madden.
Ray Guy passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the age of 72. Guy died after a long illness, according to his alma mater, the University of Southern Mississippi.
