Nigerian Afrobeats Artiste, Rema, and Disc Jockey, Cuppy have collaborated with the social media app, WhatsApp to celebrate their country’s independence day anniversary as it marks 61 years today.

They described what makes the country one of the greatest in Africa and how WhatsApp as an app has helped several people express their talents through communication on the app. They shared several advantages of the app as a significant tool for technological development in Nigeria.
However, some people have expressed that Nigeria isn’t worth celebrating even though it is growing in age after it gained independence. According to them, the country is facing loads of problems such as terrorism, kidnapping, police brutality, etc., so, the authorities should rather concentrate on that than celebrating a country that is bleeding in pain.
Rema and DJ Cuppy have both been featured on the same platform (Pepsi) as ambassadors before, so, it’s not surprising to see both of them on another big platform representing their beloved country.
