Richard Ng, also known as Richard Woo, was a Hong Kong actor best known for playing comedic roles, particularly in Hong Kong movies from the 1980s and 1990s. He died on April 9, 2023.

Ng has so far been seen in 80 movies. He received two nominations for the Hong Kong Film Awards’ Best Actor prize for his work in Winners and Sinners and Beyond the Sunset.
Several of the biggest names in Hong Kong action cinema, including Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Andy Lau, and Jet Li, were collaborators with him.

Ng and his kid will co-star in three upcoming movies. Magazine Gap Road is the first of these, and it will be released in 2007.

Ng received his education in London, UK, before moving back to Hong Kong in 1997.
Susan, a British woman who worked as a stylist for Vidal Sassoon in both New York and London, was his wife. In the 1970s, she worked as Bruce Lee’s hairdresser and owned HAIR BY SUSAN. Together, they had four kids: Carl Ng, an actor, Louise Ng, a professional photographer, and live event producer Alex Ng, who leads the popular concert production firm INTERNATIONAL FIXER. They also had Zoe Ng, a successful professional dancer who studies nature and travels widely.
