Amidst the horror and shock surrounding his crimes, one question often arises: Was Robert Pickton married?
The answer is elusive. There is no indication that Robert Pickton was ever married or had any children.
His personal life remains shrouded in mystery, with little information available about his romantic relationships or familial ties.
Born into a family deeply entrenched in pig farming in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Pickton’s early years were marked by hardship and neglect.
After dropping out of school, he transitioned into working full-time at his family’s pig farm, eventually inheriting the property and continuing to run the farm alongside his brother.
It was during this time, in the early 1990s, that Pickton’s sinister activities are believed to have begun.

Operating under the radar, he lured vulnerable women to his farm, where he subjected them to unspeakable acts of violence and ultimately murder.
In 2002, Pickton’s reign of terror came to an end when he was arrested and charged with the murders of multiple women, many of whom were from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
While he was convicted in 2007 of the second-degree murders of six women, evidence pointed to numerous other victims, leading to further charges.
However, despite the extensive investigation and trial proceedings, little is known about Pickton’s personal life beyond his criminal activities.
His solitary existence and the depths of his depravity serve as a chilling reminder of the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary lives.
Today, Robert Pickton remains incarcerated, serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole for 25 years.
