“‘Oh everything’s okay,’ you know? I was supposed to meet up with him last week. He said, ‘Sorry, I had to go back to the hospital. I’ll see you when I get out sort of thing.
“But he was like that, he always had a positive view of things. Didn’t want people to worry about him.”
Born in Abbotsford on Jan. 16, 1949, Graham was one of those artists who seemed to excel at almost anything. He was mostly known as a photo-conceptualist but was equally adept at performance art, video, graphic art, sculpture, and music.
