Ron Howard Wife: Meet Cheryl Howard

Cheryl Howard is the wife of Ron Howard an American director, producer, screenwriter, and actor.

Ron and Cheryl met at Burbank’s John Burroughs High School. In a 2013 interview with HuffPost, Ron reflected on the beginning of the couple’s relationship.

“I felt really lucky when we met,” he said. It’s unbelievable we were teenagers; it shouldn’t have worked. We married when we were young, which should not have worked, but it has.”

They got married on June 7, 1975. Ron Howard and his wife Cheryl have been married for over 45 years and have four children, including actress and director Bryce Dallas Howard.

Cheryl Howard is a writer and actress. According to her IMDb, she has made minor appearances in Ron’s films such as The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and Hillbilly Elegy.

In 2018, she appeared in an episode of Arrested Development as herself. The Face of Jinn, Cheryl’s novel, was inspired by stories she heard as a child.
