When the Houston Rockets selected Sam Dekker in the first round of the NBA draft in 2015, his professional basketball career officially got underway. Before being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2017, he spent two seasons playing for the Rockets.He was traded from the Clippers to the Cavaliers in 2018, where he played for one season before being dealt to the Washington Wizards in 2019.
