Samantha Juste: Who is Micky Dolenz’s first wife?

Samantha Juste was a British model and television presenter. She was the first wife of Micky Dolenz an American actor, musician, TV producer and businessman.

Dolenz met  Samantha Juste in 1967 while on tour with the Monkees. They married in 1968, and their daughter Ami Bluebell Dolenz was born on January 8, 1969; she went on to become an actress, most notably in the 1980s and 1990s.

Dolenz and Juste divorced in 1975 but remained close friends. Samantha Juste appeared in the mid-1960s as the “disc girl” on the BBC television programme Top of the Pops.

In 1976, Juste established her own fashion business, which she relocated to Acapulco, Mexico.

She taught design in Ireland before returning to the United States, where she and her daughter, Ami, launched Bluebell Boutique, an online jewellery store.

Samantha Juste quit Top of the Pops and moved to California with Dolenz, where they lived in Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills. She died on February 5, 2014, from a stroke.
