Santana Moss, an American wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons as a professional football player, was born on June 1, 1979. He was an All-American while playing college football for the University of Miami.

Moss was selected in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, where he played for four seasons before moving on to the Washington Redskins for ten. In 2005, Moss was chosen as an All-Pro.

At the University of Miami, Moss played football for the Miami Hurricanes as a walk-on in 1997 before being given a scholarship during the third game of the year. With 2,546 yards, he eventually broke the Hurricanes’ previous receiving yardage record.

Sinorice Moss was born on December 28, 1983, in Miami, Florida, to his mother Natalie Moss and father Lloyd Moss. He shared a childhood with his four years older brother Santana Moss.
Sinorice was compelled to play football by watching his older sibling play the sport. He played football for the Carol City Chiefs and attended Miami Carol City Senior High.
