Sharpe was born on May 30, 2003, in London, Ontario, Canada to Robert Sharpe (father) and Julia Bell (mother).
He grew up with his two siblings; Nishayne Sharpe and Amari Sharpe.
Shaedon Sharpe stands at a height of 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m) tall.
He graduated from Dream City Christian School in Glendale, Arizona, and proceeded to the University of Kentucky.

Sharpe, 19, was a consensus five-star recruit and considered one of the top players in his class at Dream City Christian School in Glendale, Arizona.
Shaedon Sharpe signed with Kentucky Wildcats but did not play a college game before entering the 2022 NBA draft.
He was selected seventh overall in the 2022 NBA draft.
Sharpe represented Canada at the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Brazil. He averaged 13 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, helping his team win the silver medal.
