Katie Grand is a British stylist, creative director and fashion journalist. Katie Grande was the wife of Steve Mackey a bassist in the alternative rock band Pulp.

The couple were married from 2009 until Steve Mackey’s death on March 2 2023. The couple lived in London and had a son together.
Steve Mackey’s cause of death has not been disclosed as of this writing. Katie Grande shared her “devastation” over her husband’s death in an Instagram post, writing:
“After three months in the hospital, fighting with all his strength and determination, we are shocked and devastated to have said goodbye to my brilliant, beautiful husband, Steve Mackey.

Katie Grand was born in April 1971 in Leeds, England, and grew up in Selly Oak, Birmingham. At the age of 12, she discovered fashion.
Katie Grand was named “one of the most powerful stylists in the world” by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph while still at St. Martins, directing and styling fashion shoots for the newly launched magazine Dazed & Confused in the 1990s.
Grand is the former editor-in-chief of LOVE, a bi-annual fashion magazine she founded in 2009. Katie Grand left the magazine in 2020. She was the fashion journalist chosen to select the 2014 Dress of the Year as the editor of LOVE.
