Thomas Aiden Turgoose born 11 February 1992, is an English actor, best known for his role as Shaun Fields in the film This Is England (2006), a role he reprises in the This Is England TV series This Is England ’86 (2010), This Is England ’88 (2011) and This Is England ’90 (2015).

In his first film role in 2006, he played the lead character, Shaun Fields, in This Is England, written and directed by Shane Meadows. On television, he played the character Dizzy, a young boy mentored by Adam Solomons (Luke Treadaway).

Thomas Turgoose was born to his mother and father, Sharon Turgoose and Eggleston, his mother died along the line when he was still young.
Thomas Turgoose has revealed co-star Stephen Graham and director Shane Meadows offered to adopt him following the death of his mother. Turgoose was 13 years old when he appeared in the acclaimed 2006 drama, which later spawned a serialized sequel series on Channel 4.
