The Wanted is reuniting. This message comes after a seven-year break by the boyband. The chart-topping group announced their comeback with an entire package. This package includes the greatest album hits, including a new single. Also, the group will host a live charity gig, This news comes a year after fellow band member, Tom Parker was diagnosed with a brain tumour which is inoperable.

The five-member group- Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes made this announcement on Wednesday. They are set to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, in London for Parker’s Inside My Head on November 12.

Plans for a reunion were discussed in 2020, but it materialised because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Another setback happened when Tom Parker was diagnosed with a brain tumour. However, after responding well to treatment, Parker began to work on a documentary, Stand Up To Cancer, and the live show at the Royal Albert Hall.
At a press conference to announce the comeback of the band, Parker exclaimed how it was nice to do something again that is not related to treatment.
