Former National Hunt jockey David James Mullins was born on June 6, 1996. He is the grandson of Paddy Mullins and the son of Tom Mullins.

He was one of the jockeys Willie Mullins, an Irish great trainer and multiple-time uncle retained.
He continued to win Graded races for other trainers, including Ms. Sandra Hughes and Pat A. Fahy.
During the same season, it culminated with a victory for Mouse Morris in the 2016 Grand National at just his first attempt, giving a patient ride to Rule The World, a horse that had never won a steeplechase.
