Sarkodie

Sarkodie’s real name is Michael Owusu Addo. Sarkodie was born on 10th July 1985. He is a Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur. He has made great contributions to the Ghana Music Industry. He is considered one of the greatest rappers in Ghana and in Africa. He is also known to be one of the proponents of the Azonto dance.

Medikal

Samuel Adu Frimpong is popularly known as Medikal. He is a Ghanaian hip hop and afrobeat musician. Medikal was born on 4th April 1993. Medikal is married to a famous Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui. They have a daughter, Island Frimpong. Medikal has won a lot of awards. One of his recent hit songs “Omo Ada” won the hip-life song of the year in the Ghana Music Awards.

Strongman Burner

The real name of Strongman Burner is Osei Kwaku Vincent. He is a Ghanaian rapper who came into the limelight after he won the maiden edition of The Next Big Thing, a rap competition show in Ghana.

Eno Barony

Eno Barony’s real name is Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom. She is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. Eno Barony was born on 30th October 1991 in Tema. Her debut single was “Wats Ma Name”. The remix of the track “Tonga” by Joey B brought her into stardom.

Okyeame Kwame

Kwame Nsiah-Apau was born on 17th April 1976. He is known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame. ‘Okyeame’ in the native Twi dialect of the Akan language means “linguist” of a Royal court. The concept reflects his lyrical fluidity. He is also nicknamed Rap Doctor.

Kwesi Arthur

Kwesi Arthur is a rapper and musician from Tema. He was nominated for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. He became the second Ghanaian rapper to be nominated for BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher after Sarkodie in 2019. Kwesi Arthur’s real name is Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior and was born on 18th December 1994. He is currently one of the best young artists in Ghana and Africa.

Manifest was born on 20th November 1982 as Kwame Ametepee Tsikata.He is the grandson of one of Africa’s foremost composers, J. H Kwabena Nketia.

Samini

Samini is a Ghanaian Reggae and Dance hall artist. His full name is Emmanuel Andrews Samini. He was formerly known as Batman Samini. Samini’s success and recognition began when he released his first single, Linda.

Tulenkey

Tulenkey is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. He made his major debut on Sarkodie’s Biibi ba. Tulenkey has been tagged as the Heir to Rap Music in Ghana after he released his banger Child Abuse song which was a cover of Cardi B’s ‘I Like it’.

Lukeman Ekow Baidoo popularly known as Teephlow was born on 20th June 1991. He is a Ghanaian award-winning hip hop artist. He came into the limelight after his participation in the maiden edition of the 2012 “Next Big Thing in GH Hip Hop” Talent Hunt Show. He released his debut single, The Warning, in 2014 which featured Sarkodie.
