Who Was Top Topham?
Top Topham was a British musician, blues guitarist and first lead guitarist of the musical band The Yardbirds.
Born on July 3, 1947, Topham began playing the guitar at an early age before he joined The Yardbirds. The band became famous after Topham had left the group.

Aside from being a musician, Topham was an interior decorator and painter.
Topham is known for the 2008 album The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions, which was produced by Mike Vernon.
In the 2000s, Topham appeared as a guest with The Yardbirds, performing with John Idan. He also made appearances with popular boogie-woogie pianist Bob Hall.
In 2013, Topham made. comeback to The Yardbirds, replacing Dreja, who left the band on health grounds.
Topham left The Yardbirds again in 2015 and was replaced by Johnny A.
