Viliame Mata, a rugby union player from Fiji, was born on October 22, 1991. He presently competes with Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship.

After helping Fiji win the gold medal at the Olympics in 2016, Mata signed a two-year contract with Pro12 club Edinburgh.
