Vladimir Andreyevich Tarasenko is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. Prior to playing in the NHL, he played in the system of the Sibir Novosibirsk organization, first playing for the senior team in the Kontinental Hockey League in 2008–09.

Vladimir Tarasenko is considered to be one of the best right-wingers to ever play in the NHL. On December 13th, 1991, he was born in Yaroslavl, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. He began his junior career in the Sibir Novosibirsk system, playing for the senior team in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in 2008-09.
