Several shootings in a Walmart parking lot in Vermont saw the death of A 17-year-old kid, according to authorities. A 44-year-old man who was the other victim is still in the hospital.

Hours later, investigators are still documenting and collecting evidence outside of the Walmart in Burlington Township where two people were shot last night. One teen died, and one man is in stable condition. So far, no arrests have been made.
According to a CBS3 employee, the shots initially sounded like firecrackers.
The store was open at the time of the shooting, and the shots sent customers fleeing for cover.

The 17-year-old male was shot and taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It is unclear if the victims were inside the store prior to the shooting.
Police are reviewing store surveillance video in order to identify the suspect or suspects.
Officers were called to the Walmart parking lot on the 2100 block of Mount Holly Road around 10:15 p.m.
