The veteran actor prefers to keep his family life away from the spotlight, but has opened up about his family a number of times in the past.
Jason serves as a patron of the Shark Trust, a UK-registered nonprofit organization that promotes shark conservation through research, outreach, advocacy, and policymaking.
In addition, he has served as Honorary Vice Patron of the Royal International Air Tattoo since 1999.

On May 29, 2014, he presented a check for £125,000 to the British RAF Air Cadet Organization on behalf of the Fairford-based RAF Charitable Trust in order to fund flight simulators for Air Cadets.
Was David Jason married to Myfanwy Talog?
Prior to Myfanwy Talog’s death, David and Myfanwy Talog were partners for more than 18 years. In 1977, they started dating, and they stayed together as he cared for her during her struggle with breast cancer. Myfanwy sadly succumbed to the condition and died in 1995.
