The Patriots used him as a return specialist and wide receiver.

In 2013, Edelman was elevated to the position of offensive starter, and he remained a mainstay of the Patriots’ receiving group until his retirement following the 2020 campaign.

Edelman, although never chosen for a Pro Bowl, was among the NFL’s most effective postseason receivers.

With more than half of his team’s receiving yards, Edelman earned the title of MVP of the most recent game.
