Sara Beth Liebe was one of the most promising contestants on season 21 of ‘American Idol’ who quit the show following her impressive performance during Hollywood Week.

Sarah Beth Liebe was earlier mom-shamed by Katy Perry during her audition stage where she revealed that she is a mother of three children. She married her husband when she was 18 and devoted her life to raising her family.
Katy Perry went on to joke that Liebe should “get some birth control” and asked her if she still loved her husband. Liebe laughed off Perry’s remarks at the time, however, she later admitted that they were “hurtful” and “embarrassing”.

Sara Beth Liebe eventually made it to Hollywood Week, where she impressed everyone with her rendition of The Police’s ‘Roxanne’. Liebe received a standing ovation from the judges and her fellow contestants, earning a spot in the next round of the competition.
However, Sara Beth Liebe shocked everyone when she announced that she was quitting ‘American Idol’ and going back home to her family. She explained that her heart was at home and that her kids needed her more than she needed the reality show.
