The salon was stunning, bustling, and a big success. Jesseca’s creations, however, were all obliterated in a single night.

On December 13th, 2006, Jeseca’s salon caught fire. Jessica might have been overpowered. Instead, she prayed and focused on what she thought might be God’s message.

Jessica was inspired to set a good example for others to follow by overcoming hardship.

Jessica was motivated to work in a temporary setting before returning to her salon to improve it.

What is a kaleidoscope?

A kaleidoscope is an optical device with two or more reflecting surfaces (or mirrors) angled to each other at an angle so that repeated reflection causes one or more things (or parts of objects) on one end of these mirrors to appear as a regular symmetrical pattern on the other end.

Why is it called kaleidoscope?

The three Greek words ‘kalos’, ‘eidos,’ and ‘scopos,’ which translate to beauty, form, and observer, respectively, are the origin of the word kaleidoscope.
