The CEO of SoFi and a former COO of Twitter, Anthony Noto (born 2 May 1968) is an American businessman.

He had prior positions as managing director at Goldman Sachs, chief financial officer of the National Football League, chief operating officer of Twitter, and head of Twitter Ventures.
The National Football League had been without a chief financial officer since Barbara Kaczynski left in February 2003, and Noto assumed that role on February 24 of 2008. Prior to the talks that led to the 2011 lockout, Noto held the job until October 2010, when he abruptly resigned. In October 2010, as co-head of Goldman’s worldwide media group, he rejoined the financial services company.

What is Anthony Noto known for?
In February 2018, Anthony Noto was appointed CEO of SoFi. Prior to this, from November 2016 to February 2018, he served as Twitter’s COO. From July 2014 until August 2017, he served as the organization’s CFO. He co-headed Global Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs before joining Twitter in July 2014. After almost three years as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the National Football League, he returned to Goldman Sachs in October 2010.
