Paul Stephen Rudd was born to English Jews in Passaic, New Jersey, on April 6, 1969.

Along with his work in movies, Rudd has also acted in a number of television series, including the NBC comedy Friends as Mike Hannigan, as well as guest parts on shows including Reno 911!, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, and Parks and Recreation.
Rudd has also hosted Saturday Night Live on numerous occasions. He received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his dual role in the Netflix comedy series Living with Yourself.
