English pro dancer Daniel Whiston is now focusing on business.

He co-owns and runs a number of Subway restaurants in Lancashire, together with his former dance partner Karen Barber.

Daniel Whiston is an English ice skater, known for appearing on the BBC one show Strictly Ice Dancing and on the ITV show Dancing on Ice since 2006.

Born on November 21,1976, in Blackpool, England, Whiston began dancing professionally at age 18 years, and went on to appear in the Hot Ice Show at the Arena.

Whiston won the first season of Dancing on Ice with his partner, actress Gaynor Faye.

During its fifth season, he partnered with former Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon and later, Olympic gymnast, Beth Tweddle.

In 2019, Whiston became Associate Creative Director of Dancing on Ice and began training all celebrity contestants.

The following year, he was appointed Director of Choreography Ice for Real Full Monty on Ice on ITV.

In 2015 Whiston appeared in the panto Snow White, which became the best-selling show ever by Grand Theatre.

In 2016 Whiston participated in Intimissimi on Ice with international opera great Andrea Bocelli in Verona, Italy.
