Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was born on June 5, 1999, in Málaga, Spain. He was brovght vp by his parents Eduard Davidovich, and Tatiana Fokina. He is residing in Fuengirola, Spain and is being coached by Jorge Aguirre.

He began his professional tennis career in 2016 and won his first ITF Grade 1 in Canada at the Repentigny Internationaux de Tennis Junior. He won his first ITF Futures 15K title at Quinta do Lago in Portugal, against Roberto Ortega Olmedo in March 2018.
