Grammy award-winning artist, Enrique Iglesias has been making the news recently after he failed to show up at the Tecate Emblema due to being diagnosed with pneumonia.

He shared in a social media post that his doctors advised him to take enough rest so he can fully recover.
“Dear fans, much to my regret, it’ll be impossible for me to appear at the show tonight in Mexico. I have pneumonia and doctors have advised absolute rest and have forbidden me to get on an airplane,” he wrote.

“I am frankly sad to cancel this show in a country that has given me so much. I hope to recover fast and be able to be with you all in full form soon,” he ended.
Iglesias also entered the English music scene with his albums, Vivir (To Live) and Cosas del Amor. His successful crossover into the English market also includes the release of his album Enrique.
He released his second English album Escape in 2001. His next album Quizas sold a million copies in a week, making it the fastest-selling album in Spanish in five years. His seventh album 7 was released in 2003.
