One Life to Live heavily focuses on the members and relationships of the Lord’s family. After nearly 43 years on the air, ABC cancelled One to Live on April 14, 2011.
On July 7, 2011, production company Prospect Park announced that it would continue the show as a web series after its run on ABC, but later suspended the project.

ABC has confirmed that the network has decided to cancel One Life To Live, a soap which first debuted back on July 15, 1968.
According to reports, Soaps.com is very saddened for the cast, crew and especially fans who have made everyone in Llanview a part of their everyday lives.
