Pham currently plays for the Boston Red Sox, and has previously played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, San Diego Padres, and Cincinnati Reds.
In 2006, Pham was drafted by the Cardinals in the 16th round of the 2006 MLB draft.
The following year, Pham recorded a batting average of 300, 20 home runs, 20 doubles, and 20 stolen bases in one season. He was the first to achieve such feat since 1900.
