What keyboard does Robert Glasper use?
The piano star appears to modify the sound of every piano he plays by fusing the individual notes of a keyboard into one continuous stream. Glasper is a disciplined and freethinking genre-bender to equal the elder statesman of those virtues, Herbie Hancock.

He is a jazz genius who deftly disguises it, a hip-hop artist who rarely strikes anything hard, and an improviser with a classical pianist’s concern for the weighting of every sound.
Following this triumph, Glasper performed on other popular albums, notably playing keyboards on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and winning another Grammy for the single “These Walls.”
Glasper’s breakthrough crossover album, Black Radio, won the 2013 Grammy for best R&B album. The continuous Black Radio series of albums, which features guests like Yasiin Bey (previously Mos Def), Bilal, Ledisi, Lupe Fiasco, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu, has subsequently become Glasper’s calling card.
