Krissy Taylor was a model from the United States who passed away on July 2, 1995.

Taylor was known to suffer from allergies that congested her upper respiratory system, and she relied on Primatene, an over-the-counter epinephrine inhaler, to alleviate shortness of breath.
While epinephrine can cause cardiac arrhythmias, it was impossible to prove she had taken any in the days leading up to her death.
Krissy’s older sister, Niki Taylor, discovered Krissy unconscious on the floor of their Florida home.

Taylor was rushed to Memorial Hospital West and pronounced dead at 5:39 a.m. after her family and authorities failed to revive her. She was seventeen years old.
An acute asthma attack complicated by sudden cardiac arrhythmia was the official cause of death. She did not, however, have a history of asthma or any symptoms of a heart condition.
Unsure of the medical examiner’s diagnosis, the Taylor family enlisted the help of independent experts to examine tissue samples from Taylor’s heart muscle.
These experts concluded that her death was more likely caused by a rare cardiac disease known as arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD)
