Lil Keed was born Raqhid Jevon Render on March 16, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States of America. He is the sixth of his parents’ seven children.

Lil Keed was raised alongside 6 brothers and a sister. One of his brothers is the American rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Gotit, born Semaja Zair Render. Semaja is Lil Keed’s younger brother.

Lil Keed was initially raised in Forest Park before he relocated to Atlanta on Cleveland Ave. Before his fame, he worked earlier at Subway and McDonald’s as a teenager.

Lil Keed’s first song to go Gold was ‘Nameless’ in 2018. His studio albums ‘Long Live Mexico’ and ‘Trapped on Cleveland 3’ are charted on the Billboard 200. He was nominated for the 10th spot for the XXL Freshman cover On March 27, 2019.

However, Lil Keed got included in XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class on August 11, 2020. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with several artists including O.T. Genasis, Lil Gotit, Quavo, Lil Duke, Yak Gotti, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, Future, Gunna, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Roddy Ricch, YNW Melly, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug.

Lil Keed’s song “Nameless” reached number 42 on the Billboard Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart. He was signed to Young Thug’s record label YSL Records, and 300 Entertainment. He is the father of a daughter named Naychur. Lil Keed reportedly passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 24, in Portland‎, ‎Maine‎.
