Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos where he also spent time in foster care following his parent’s divorce.

Arnaut Danjuma is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for La Liga club Villarreal, and the Netherlands national team.
In the summer of 2016, Arnaut Danjuma signed and made his debut and first Eredivisie appearance against his former club PSV on 10 September.

Arnaut Danjuma his debut for Club Brugge on 22 July in the 2018 Belgian Super Cup. On 3 October, Arnaut Danjuma scored a goal against Atlético Madrid in a 3–1 loss in the Champions League group stage.
In his only full season in the Belgian First Division A, Arnaut Danjuma scored five goals. Whilst with La Liga club Villarreal, Arnaut Danjuma scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in a 2–2 draw against Atalanta on 14 September.
Arnaut Danjuma was first called up for the Dutch national team by Ronald Koeman in October 2018 and later made his debut on 13 October in a 3–0 UEFA Nations League home win over Germany.
