Noah Lyles is a professional track and field sprinter from the United States who competes in the 100 and 200 metres.

He was born on July 18, 1997, in Gainesville, Florida, in the United States. He is twenty-five years old.

Lyles was a gymnast as a child and began running track at the age of 12. His parents, Keisha Caine and Kevin Lyles were both track and field athletes at Seton Hall University.

He won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, the 200 m world title in 2019, and the 200 m world title in 2022.

In the 100 and 200 metres, Lyles has set personal records of 9.86 and 19.31 seconds, respectively. Lyles is the American record holder in the 200-meter dash.

He took home a gold medal in the 200 metres at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games in 2014.

At the 2016 World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, he won gold in the 100-meter dash and the four-by-100-meter relay.

At the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, he took home gold medals in the 200 metres and the 4 x 100-meter relay.
