Gerald Peter “Jerry” Remy was born on November 8, 1952, in  Fall River, Massachusetts. Jerry was an American Major League Baseball second baseman for the  California Angels (1975–77) and the Boston Red Sox (1978–84).

Jerry and his wife Phoebe had three children, Jared, Jordan, and Jenna.

Phoebe is Portuguese by birth. She was 20 years old when she married Remy who at the time, was 22. Phoebe met Jerry in the early 1970s while he was working in retail during their offseason.

Jerry Remy died on October 30, 2021, from lung cancer at the age of 68.

Jared is known for pleading guilty to the murder of Jennifer Martel and other indictments. Jerry was given the mandatory sentence of life in prison without a possibility of parole.

Jenna Remy is not an angel either. Jenna was also arrested for resisting arrest, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor breaking and entering after allegedly breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s house.
