Alex Biggar was born Alexandra Cummings and she got married to Alex Biggar in 2016.
Alex Biggar (formerly Cummings) and Dan Biggar have been together since they were attending school.
Alex Biggar currently runs a successful cake business – Biggar Bakes – and was previously a primary school teacher.
Ahead of the 2021 Lions Tour, Alex Biggar said his wife has always been his biggest fan, and stuffed his bag with letters to motivate him ahead of the trip to South Africa.

Dan Biggar wrote to the Daily Mail prior to his departure and said about his wife;
“My wife will be the first person I call if I make the team.
“When I left home for the camp in Jersey, she slipped a bunch of envelopes in my bag.
