Who is Floyd fighting in Dubai?

On May 14, Mayweather will fight Don Moore on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. This will be Mayweather’s third exhibition fight and his first since his June 2021 fight with Logan Paul in Miami. Fans can watch Mayweather vs. Don Moore on FITE.tv and LIVEnow.

Mayweather will square off against Moore, who fought from 1999 to 2016. Floyd’s late uncle Roger Mayweather trained him and he was Floyd’s former sparring partner. He last fought in 2016, when he knocked out DeShaun Williams.

Floyd is a former Olympic bronze medalist who has fought some of the best fighters in the world. His career was not without controversy, as he defeated Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Shane Mosley, and Ricky Hatton.

He was frequently accused of cherry-picking his fights to catch rising stars too early or when they were already on the decline.  When he defeated Manny Pacquiao in 2015, he was widely regarded as having ducked a prime Manny Pacquiao.
