KATY, Texas (KTRK) — A 17-year-old succumbed to his injuries a week after six people were injured in a stabbing at a Katy-area park.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, 17-year-old Marlon Robinson was pronounced dead at a hospital on Sunday. His mother told ABC13 he was stabbed four times.

Who Is Marlon Robinson?
Marlon Robinson is a 17-years old who was stabbed on Feb. 14, shortly after 3 p.m. at Beckendorff Park, in the 1800 block of Katyland Drive.

Authorities said it appeared to be a school fight involving Katy ISD students, but it’s unclear what school the students attend.

One of the teens stabbed during an after-school fight at a Katy-area park has died, Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials said.
Marlon Robinson, 17, died Sunday at a hospital after being stabbed on Feb. 14 during a fight at Beckendorff Park, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a tweet.
He and a second boy were among those airlifted to a hospital after the melee.
