Joe Ferguson is a British Olympic athlete. Five times, including at the European Junior Championships, he competed for Great Britain as a junior.

He held the top junior rankings over 200 meters in the UK, Europe, and the world in 2019.
He also won the following; multiple National medals over 100m and 200m, personal bests of 10.57 (100m) and 20.76 (200m), 2019 winner of Mannheim junior international (200m), Multiple North England titles over 100m and 200m, Involved with British athletics futures sprint relay program.

At the British Athletics Championships in Manchester, England, in September 2020, the sprinter was thrilled to win a bronze medal in the 200-meter event.
The 22-year-old Darton native won his first senior medal with a time of 21.16.
He said: “I am really happy. My plan was to make it to the final and I would have been happy with that. I knew there was a chance of a medal and it was great to get a bronze.
“It’s definitely one of the best moments of my career. I have been high up in the juniors but it is nice to be up there on a senior level now. I have put myself on that stage and shown I have the potential to compete in the seniors even though I am only 20.”
