Who is Sheryl Lee Ralph’s husband Vincent Hughes?

Sheryl Lee Ralph is married to Vincent Hughes, a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate representing the 7th District.

The couple married in 2005. Sheryl Lee Ralph shared that a mutual friend introduced her to her husband Vincent Hughes, who was divorced with children at the time they met. She previously told Essence that her favourite aspect of Hughes is his strength.

Vincent Hughes and Sheryl Lee Ralph are actively engaged in philanthropic efforts and fundraising for various organizations that work for the betterment of their community.

They have also been actively involved in creating awareness and raising funds for various charitable foundations like the Diva foundation founded by Sheryl Lee Ralph, which aims to empower and educate young women of colour through mentorship programs, scholarship opportunities and other initiatives.

Vincent Hughes has been serving in the state senate since 1994, and he is also the Minority Whip of the state senate.

In addition to his political career, Vincent Hughes is also active in various organizations and civic groups. He is a founding member of the Network of Politicians of African Descent and the Black Elected Officials of Pennsylvania.
