Sonny Osborne was an American bluegrass musician and banjo player. He was one half of the Osborne Brothers musical duo, with his brother Bobby. Was born in Hyden, Kentucky, United States, on October 29, 1937.

Sonny got married to Judith E Osborne on June 26, 1958. They gave birth to two children Steven Osborne and Karen Osborne. Sonny died on October 24, 2021, after an extended illness.
