Henrietta Muir Edwards was a Canadian women’s rights activist and reformer. Henrietta was born on the 18th day of December 1849, in Montreal, Canada East, and died on 10 November 1931, in Fort Macleod, Alberta, Canada.

Henrietta was the eldest of “The Famous Five”, along with Emily Murphy, Nellie McClung, Louise McKinney, and Irene Parlby, who fought to have women recognized as “persons” under the law, and for the woman’s right to vote in elections.

Oliver was born on the 12th day of September 1850 in Clarence, Russell, Upper Canada to William Edwards and Anne (Cameron) Edwards.
Oliver C. Edwards was licensed to practice in Lower Canada in 1876. In 1882, he moved west and practiced medicine in Ft. Qu’Appelle and Regina.
