Who was Nancy Frangione? ‘Another World’ Actress Dead at 70

Nancy Frangione was an American actress who was known for her role as the scheming villainess Cecile DePoulignac on the popular soap opera Another World. She played the role from June 1981 to November 1984 and reprised the role four times in 1986, 1989, 1993, and also from October 1995 to June 1996. Due to her role, she won the 1st Soap Opera Digest Awards as Outstanding Villainess in 1984.

Frangione was also known for several movies and TV shows. Some of them include The Nanny, In the Line of Duty, Highway to Heaven, Matlock, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, All My Children, Sharing Richard, One Life to Live, and more.

She died at the age of 70, however, no cause of death was announced. Her death occurred on Friday, August 18, 2023, in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was survived by her daughter Mariel Wilson.

Frangione made her acting debut in soap opera in 1977 when she played the role of Tara Martin on All My Children.
