The relatives of a Stoke-on-Trent mother who perished in a house fire have praised her as a kind, devoted person “who always sought to keep the family together.”

Following Valentina Cozma’s death last Thursday in a fire at her Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent, home, Staffordshire Police have made a direct appeal to Georgian Constantin to turn himself in.
A post-mortem revealed that the 40-year-death old’s was probably caused by inhaling combustion byproducts.
Her 42-year-old ex-husband, who is from Stoke-on-Trent, is sought after in connection with her slaying.

Since the fire, he has been seen in London and is believed to have connections to the Southampton region.

In an effort to find Constantin, Staffordshire Police is currently in contact with the National Crime Agency and the British Transport Police. They are remaining open-minded about whether Constantin is still in the UK or has left the country.
The public is being advised not to approach Constantin, who has been living in the UK since 2017. Instead, they should call 999.
