Why did Gary Kubiak collapse?

Former offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens collapsed sometime in 2013, after suffering a mini-stroke.

Kubiak was head coach of the Houston Texans at the time, and slumped during a game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was rushed immediately to the Houston-area hospital.

Who Is Gary Kubiak?

Gary Kubiak is a former American football quarterback and retired head coach of the National Football League (NFL).

Born on August 15, 1961, in Texas Kubiak played the quarterback position while he was at Texas A&M.

He was drafted into the NFL in 1983 by the Denver Broncos, where he ended up played for eight seasons, before he began his coaching career.

Kubiak appeared in seven Super Bowls as a player, and won Super Bowl 50 as head coach.

In 1992, he began coaching at Texas A&M, as a running backs coach, and in 2019, he went on to coach the Minnesota Vikings.

So far, Kubiak has coached the Texas A&M, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, and the Baltimore Ravens.

Kubiak retired as a coach in 2021, after a 37-35 win record over the Detroit Lions. He had spent 29 years with the NFL at the time.
