This week on SmackDown, Jey Uso defeated Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso all by himself. He then turned to face the camera to announce his departure from The Bloodline, SmackDown, and WWE.

In the main battle tonight, Jey Uso also squared off against his previous faction. Jimmy told his brother that he cost him the SummerSlam match because he didn’t want Jey to become an egotistical and coward like Roman Reign.

The entire thing quickly devolved into a brawl. Jey defeated Reigns and Sikoa. He then hit his twin brother with a superkick. Jey walked through the Calgary audience in defiance at the end of the event.

Jey Uso has always been the most emotional of The Usos. He could have called it quits because he felt betrayed. To say the least, Jey’s choice to depart WWE was rash. He might be on the show again next week. This was not his first time leaving. At the Royal Rumble a few months ago, the top star had the same thought.
